1. Nature of Our Services (Very Important – Read This)

All ultrasounds performed at BellyView Ultrasound are elective, non-diagnostic, and non-medical.

• Our scans are for bonding, reassurance, and keepsake purposes only

• We do not assess fetal anatomy, growth, development, or wellbeing

• We do not replace diagnostic ultrasounds or medical care

• We do not provide medical opinions, diagnoses, or treatment advice

If at any time you have medical concerns about your pregnancy, you must contact your midwife, GP, obstetrician, or maternity unit immediately.

2. Eligibility to Attend

By booking, you confirm:

• You are currently under the care of a qualified medical provider

• You have had a dating and viability ultrasound and are scheduled for your other routine diagnostic ultrasounds

• You understand BellyView Ultrasound is not suitable for emergencies

3. General Scan Expectations (Applies to All Packages)

Ultrasound image quality depends on factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

• Baby’s position

• Gestational age

• Placenta placement

• Maternal body composition

• Amniotic fluid levels

We will always do our best to obtain quality images, however specific images, facial views, or movements cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly stated in your package.

4. Health, Comfort & Safety

• Please attend well-hydrated for best image quality

• If you feel unwell, contact us prior to your appointment

• We reserve the right to stop a scan if continuation is unsafe or inappropriate

5. Images, Videos & Keepsakes

• Digital images and videos are provided as keepsakes only

• BellyView Ultrasound is not responsible for image quality on personal devices

• Printed items and gifts are non-refundable once provided

• Images may be used for BellyView marketing only with your consent

6. Payments & Pricing

• Prices are as listed on the website at the time of booking

• Full payment or deposit is required to secure an appointment

• Promotional offers cannot be applied retrospectively

• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and must be used before expiry

7. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment with BellyView Ultrasound, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

• Accept the elective and non-diagnostic nature of the service

• Agree to the cancellation and rescheduling policy

Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows

We get it — pregnancy is unpredictable. That said, this policy protects a small business from empty appointment slots.

Standard Appointments:

• More than 24 hours’ notice: reschedule or cancellation permitted with deposit paid credited to account or refund available on request

• Less than 24 hours’ notice: deposit or full payment is forfeited (unless otherwise discussed and confirmed with BellyView Ultrasound)

• No-shows: full deposit forfeited

Outside-of-Hours Appointments:

• Fully prepaid

• Non-refundable and non-reschedulable

Late Arrivals:

• Arriving late may shorten your scan time

• Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be treated as a no-show

These scans are designed to:

• Provide reassurance by seeing baby and/or heartbeat

• Offer a short bonding experience

• Capture simple keepsake images

Please note:

• These scans are brief and non-diagnostic

• No detailed assessment is performed

• No free re-scan is offered if baby is in a suboptimal position

• Gestational age must align with the selected package for best results

Outside-of-hours reassurance scans are:

• Fully prepaid at booking

• Non-refundable and non-transferable

You must have had your dating and viability ultrasound before booking. Do not use a reassurance scan for any medical emergency or decreased movements.

• Gender determination is based on visual interpretation at the time of scan

• While accuracy is high, gender cannot be guaranteed

• No refunds are provided for incorrect predictions

• Gender reveal lighting or sealed envelope options are final once delivered

By proceeding, you accept the small margin of human and technical error inherent in ultrasound imaging

Packages without a baby face guarantee:

• Do not include complimentary re-scans

• Accept image outcomes as achieved during the session

This package is offered at a reduced price and operates on a best-effort basis.

By booking, you acknowledge:

• Image quality and facial views are not guaranteed

• No free re-scan or refund is provided if baby is uncooperative

• This package is designed as a fun opportunity, not a promise.

These sessions are longer, immersive bonding experiences focused on:

• Baby’s face, movements, and personality

• High-quality keepsake images and videos

Baby Face Guarantee (where advertised):

• Applies only to packages that explicitly include this guarantee

• If no facial images are obtained due to baby position, you may be offered one complimentary return visit

• Complimentary returns are subject to availability and must be booked within the timeframe advised. Your first scan of this package MUST be before 32 weeks to be eligible for a return scan.

• No refunds are provided in place of a re-scan.

• If baby is still uncooperative during the return (2nd) scan, then the best pictures available will be chosen from both ultrasounds for printing. There is no guarantee on the rescan.

These sessions are longer, immersive bonding experiences focused on:

• Baby’s face, movements, and personality

• High-quality keepsake images and videos

Baby Face Guarantee (where advertised):

• Applies only to packages that explicitly include this guarantee

• If no facial images are obtained due to baby position, you may be offered one complimentary return visit

• Complimentary returns are subject to availability and must be booked within the timeframe advised. Your first scan of this package MUST be before 32 weeks to be eligible for a return scan.

• No refunds are provided in place of a re-scan.
